Honestly my favorite place to go to for smoothies. The smoothies aren't blended with a lot ice leaving it tasting bland, no weird freezerburn taste like some places, genuinely good flavor, AND NOT EXCESSIVELY SWEET! Large drinks for very reasonable price. Pay $8 for the avacolada with whey protein. My go-to place for smoothies, 100% worth the 10-15 min drive for me.

Love the hummus veggie wrap with feta! Also, the app is fantastic and perfect for when you are on the go and need to grab great food quickly. It is always ready when I arrive, and the staff members are so friendly. I highly recommend trying Tropical Smoothie out!

Ordered a Beach Bum smoothie and it tasted like watered down strawberries. I have got this kind many times before and it has never been like this. Really disappointing to spend $7 on a drink that goes in the garbage. I don’t know if they changed the style of smoothies and are now adding water but not what it used to be!

We get smoothies here about twice a year but we're frequent patrons of other locations as my son worked at one for several years. Picked up our order tonight and my 8 dollar drink tasted like water and kale. It was an island green and they clearly forgot to put the other fruit in the drink. I ate my straw and the drink will go in the trash (kale is fine, but I was expecting a drink to have flavor like it has every other time I've had it). The other 2 drinks tasted fine according to the kids.

I love Tropical I’ve been getting the same 5 items from here for over 4yrs. And for some reason when I come to this location and only one certain Register Boy always messes up my order!! It’s never fails! During free smoothie week, w a purchase of something else. I went twice before he was working a the counter and instead giving me the free smoothie, he used my 1500 tropical smoothie points for my Smoothie!! It’s just so frustrating because this place points aren’t easy to stack! And I can to redeem this issue we resolved that day he did it w a free smoothie and wrap, which cost 14bucks and some change. I’m just irritated with that being it! That’s all for him taking my 1500 points ! It’s honestly bullshit.

I love coming to your tropical smoothie in Ankeny,but this time the floors were cluttered with debris and the kitchen floor was disgusting!!! Behind the register there was a pile of lettuce etc. We sat down at the table and it was sticky so we got our food and ate in the car, Please rectify this matter.., it makes it very uncomfortable to order food from a dirty kitchen.
