I didn't look around for the atmosphere so I just gave it five stars but I was very disappointed in the food. The tots were severely overcooked barely had any potato in them and tasted like oil as if they had just refried tots that were already fried before. And the burger was well done when I asked for medium and also was not what it should have been. It had white sauce. Not sure what it was but it was not the Wahl sauce and the burger had no flavor. I wasted my $15. I have worked at Wahlburgers for 4 years of my life and management and was very disappointed in my food so I know how it is supposed to be and that was not it

FOR $16. 96Was told it would be about 5 min wait for a burger and onion rings. 10 min later, asked again. Told 5 minutes. Same thing at 15. Finally at 25 minutes there it was in a very small box. I live near the store, within 2 blocks. At home I opened the box.... burger and rings very cold and greasy. The bread on the burger was burnt. I can't see anyone who was treated and fed like this would go there again. I doubt it's something Wahlburger's main would appreciate. Please go back to a hy-vee restaurant, at least the food wasn't nasty.

Can’t beat the happy hour (3p-6p) they offer, such as $2 domestic pints. They also have $5 apps for certain choices like wings, fried pickles and wontons. Was disappointed they took their Jen’s Chicken Egg Rolls off the app menu and have reduced their menu overall but still a great place for a relaxing, affordable spot to go without crowds.

So Me & the Wifey came in to shop. Came over to eat Lunch special for today was buy One Burger & Get 2nd for .45.. We jump on the deal.. I had Wahl-Apeno Burger, Wifey had O.F.D Burger, also got Becon Wontons & finsh it off a Bowl Chili.. for around $35.. Food was great & Staff ( Max B ) & ( Karen W. )was very helpful.

Got the chili cheese fries. Good. Also ordered a bowl of chili. Very very small. Was still in shape of scoop after my 10 min drive home. Ok for putting on a hotdog or burger. But no way it should be for a bowl of chili. And prices are for a quality place. Not a Hyvee burger joint.

The order at the front and go sit and wait is odd. We were given kids cups, but no milk. With no server, I went to the bartende (super friendly). While our food was good, it was pricey. I love the sweet potato tator tots!! The regular burger isn't much to talk about and I'd much prefer BBops for 1/5 of the price. Overall, we only went for kids eat free and still spent too much.

We chose to check out in a lane that had a first day cashier. The girl bagging the groceries was very helpful to him and us. He accidentally double charged us and the girl took it upon herself to get the approval from management to get it deducted and get us going to keep the line moving!!! Very impressed!! Thank you to the two working isle 5 today!! You are what Hy-Vee is supposed to be!!!
