This place could be good, BUT...My experience was terrible. We went in at 3:00 on a Sunday and it was empty. They have you order on tablets, which initially confused my parents but we got it figured out or so we thought. When we got our sandwiches they had nothing on them except meat. Turns out you have to manually select toppings, which the screen never prompted us to do (although it prompted us to get a drink/chips for $3.00).Two things are the issue here:1) Put the toppings on the sandwiches by default OR have the system prompt you to add things, which I know it can do (I've never had an issue with Toast systems).2) Tell the employee(s) (there was just one working) to come out of the back room and ask if we want toppings since just meat is an odd choice. And if this costs anything to do, then you're running your business wrong.Overall, I could recommend if management took a little more care into the employees and customers.The biggest issue

I'm shocked this place is still in business. When they first opened it was very busy and fun to go and fill out the bag of ingredients.I never really enjoyed the food for the price though so we stopped going. Sometime last year we decided to give it a go again as my wife likes the Muffuletta. I tried the Chzbgrwich and found it to be pretty good. But I've ordered the same sandwich 5-10 times and every time it's different. Lately, sometimes it comes with hot peppers, which I love, but my body hates. So I've made sure to check the order and I never order them. Twice I've told the "manager" and she said they are on the new version. But you can't uncheck them, so I have to go in to order so I can tell them not to add them in person. Plus you can't use your reusable cup for a $1.50 refill. They make you pay full price if you order on the app.But I finally hit my breaking point with this place. I brought my wife home a muffuletta the other day, it didn't have the olive salad. If you don't get the olive salad on a muffuletta you are basically getting a ham, salami and cheese. So I called the store as I didn't want to go back in, my wife just chopped up green olives to give it a little flavor. I assumed they would offer me credit. The person that called was barely audible, mumbling, yada, yada. I told him about the problem and he said, OK. I said what can you do about it, he said I don't know. I asked for the manager. He said she just left. This was 1 PM on a Saturday. They have nobody available to handle this complex customer service around lunchtime?So I sent the feedback through the website and 2 days later I get a response from them that they were sorry, but they are independently owned and operated. They included the local store. Today is nine days later so I decided to just go to the store to get a new muffuletta. They told me that they couldn't do anything because it was too long since I've been to the store. I was irritated so the "manager" told me that the manager would be coming to the store so I could wait. I waited another 10 minutes, but had to get back for a meeting. So I went to Slim Chickens, that treats me great EVERY time. I left my phone number for them to call, but shocking nobody has called.I'm done giving them any business and hope all of you will as well so that we can get something else in that waste of space.

The food was bland, missing ingredients and when asked the employee blamed his manager for making it wrong. No apologies very lack luster customer service.

Called them to place an order on 3/17/24 Sunday afternoon at 4:37pm when kid answered it was hello..no hello this is which wich..just hello..so wasn't sure if I got the right place, then asked if I could place an order to go..and got the moment of silence and was told I suppose!! I asked if there was a problem, he said why don't u just order on line..I replied I'd never tried place before and before going to the trouble of setting up an account, password etc..I just wanted to call and order a sandwich and see if I liked it well enough to sartorial an account..got the well I suppose u can then..the second suppose was enough..they obviously didn't want my buisness..they must get enough from on..line!!! That me calling in an order while sitting in front of the place wasn't needed...I worked retail for hy vee for 26 years and we were written up if we had acted like that...its customer service..and they pat the wages..but mine wont!!

As I'm waiting on my food the man preparing my sandwich kept answering the phone with the same gloves he was preparing my sandwich with on and didn't change them and was using the register. Very unsanitary and will probably discourage me from returning here.

**NEVER ordering from this store again! NO DINNER, NO MANAGEMENT, NOR RESPONSIBLE EMPLOYEE ON SITE FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION = POOR MANAGEMENT AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE!! (I mean how difficult would it have been to remake the order to retain customers?)** Housemate ordered delivery thru DoorDash tonight, spending around $31 for dinner for us tonight. Delivery was to be approx 45 minutes. When time elapsed without delivery, he followed up with the store to learn from staff that the order had been picked up by someone other than DoorDash, essentially stolen, and when asking for a Supervisor or Management, was told there was no one on site, layed the phone down and was never picked up again. BYE-BYE WHICH WICH! Grrrrr!!

I ordered food through the app someone claimed my order for delivery and didn't deliver my food. It was stolen. I called the store to see if I could get a new order sent out or a refund. They said they needed a manager to do that and there's not one in the store.

Very disappointed ordered two clubs which is supposed to come with bacon, mine did not. If that was the only problem that would be acceptable, but the sandwich was horrible. Ask for avocado which basically turned out to be a avocado spread that was a very dark green which means it's been left out overnight in the fridge. Could not tell if the wheat bread was just dry or was a little on the stale side. The kid making the sandwich was nice though.

Maybe one of the most underwhelming sandwiches I’ve ever had (Subway’s hard to beat for that lol). The service was incredibly slow despite there being no line. The fries were very very soggy (like high school lunch room soggy). Save your money and go somewhere better.

Enjoy coming here. The restaurant is always clean and the workers are always pleasant. The speed of sandwich making leaves a little to be desired… overall though this is a good restaurant with great food. Definitely need to get that soda machine recalibrated…

Sandwich was not as advertised and sadly wasn’t appetizing, however they did remake the sandwich and gave me an extra item, unfortunately didn’t capture my taste buds and will not be returning.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options look like there may be some tasty choices available

I got no banana on my Elvis sandwich, no bacon on the cheeseburger sandwich, and the amount of fries received was about 4 bites for $4. A couple of the fries were still ice cold. I had to order at the kiosk because no one was around to take my order in person. Then when the gal came out to make the order, didn’t say one word to me, even after I smiled and said hi. There wasn’t anyone else in line and only another group of 3 just finishing their meal. If a sandwich says it comes with an item in the menu description, it should automatically be in the order unless someone says “no xxx.” I would have asked while placing the order if I had actually had the chance to talk to someone. Terrible experience.
