“I had heard about this spot in Anthon a year or two ago, but hadn't made it there because it's a 90 minute drive from home. We happened to be in the area last month and decided to stop... SO glad we did. We started with the salad bar, which was amazing! Lots of choices, including pickled herring and pickled beets... the hallmark of a great salad bar for us! We ordered prime rib, which was very reasonably priced, and it came out nice and rare... just how we ordered it, unlike many other places who have a difficult time cooking it rare. My husband had glazed sweet potato fries as his side... fantastic! I had hash browns with onions... nice & crispy. What a fabulous meal for under $30!! Oh... and to top it off... they have a meat market attached to the restaurant. We picked up injected New York strips ($7.50/#!!!) that were absolutely amazing when we grilled them at home. Will be returning for dinner often... well worth the 90 minute drive... and won't buy our steaks anywhere else from now on!“
