We ordered the Sturdy standby minus black olives, and the The Royal. Service was super friendly and on top of it, always refilling empty beverages. Great sauce and cooked to perfection. You need to check out this place, best pizza in town for sure!

Poor service. We waited for about 10 minutes as the waitess served the table next to us and never offered acknowledgment or menus. As we walked out she was standing arounf chating inside as the were bot very busy. We went to West O for a pizza.

I have been in the food service business for over 25 years one of the people at our table owns a restaraunt. The food was great, the service was lacking. We ordered 3 pizzas, Wings, and the raviolis and drinks, toward the end of our meal our server spilled a whole beer and soda on two orf the leftover pizzas we had. I get it happens sometimes but when you are spending 165.00 for 3 people I would have thought a gift card for another visit or money off our bill would have been a good resolution to come back , our toddler and son where drenched with beer and water. We felt bad for our server and realize it was an accident, however it could have been made right. The servers were overall just not in the game. Food was fantastic though! Maybe we will try takeout next time it was also very hot in the restaraunt. Reading other reviews from people you might want to talk to servers about attentiveness, and being friendly its almost like we were an inconvenience.

Loved everything we tried. I will say I was bummed that when I tried ordering the wedge salad I was told they were out of them, so got a side salad instead….then the main reason I wanted to go there was the appetizer with the egg yolk on it. Ordered that also and the waitress came back to tell me they couldn’t do that either because they were out of eggs…..so the two things I ordered I couldn’t get.
But everything else was great!

Would love to tell you how it is, but never got the chance. After waiting 45 minutes for our order I walked and asked the server if our ticket was lost. She said no and that it was in the oven. Watched 4 orders complete of folks that didn’t come in until after I had checked. Went and asked the guy cooking the pizzas if he had gotten our order and he said they were coming right up. Then he placed two more orders down that were not ours so I just asked for my ticket to pay for our drinks. They gladly charged me full price for the sodas and garlic knots and decided no sign of apology was necessary. Which stinks because I like to give places a second chance, but not when they don’t seem to care about my business.
Making my wife and three young kids wait for more than an hour to not get any pizza is ridiculous.

This was our first time here and we LOVED it! My kids even said it's the best pizza they've ever had. Wow! We ordered the appetizer with the name I can't pronounce. Basically, it is a cheese pizza with garlic and an egg yolk. Sound crazy, right? It was OUTRAGEOUSLY good!!! Ordered 2 other pizzas and they were absolutely delicious, as well. Wonderfully fluffy crust and delicious toppings. Nothing over done. The vibe inside was great, too! We'll be making this place a tradition every time we visit Okoboji! Try it!
Kid-friendliness: We had 4 kiddos with us and it was no problem at all. Staff was super kind to them.

Last Saturday was our first visit to the Okoboji Dough Company and my mother-in-law, daughters, and I had such a great experience! The food was amazing (you have to try their pizza's), the staff was so nice, and the atmosphere was very cool, very Lake vibes! I was really impressed at the service they were able to provide with only 3 staff on a busy Saturday afternoon at 1pm. We will definitely be going back!!

Great waiter, and the pizza was excellent. No diet Mountain Dew was the only thing between them and five stars. This restaurant was a great break from the beer, beer, and beer restaurants closer to Arnold's Park.
