This was our first time here and we LOVED it! My kids even said it's the best pizza they've ever had. Wow!
We ordered the appetizer with the name I can't pronounce. Basically, it is a cheese pizza with garlic and an egg yolk. Sound crazy, right? It was OUTRAGEOUSLY good!!! Ordered 2 other pizzas and they were absolutely delicious, as well. Wonderfully fluffy crust and delicious toppings. Nothing over done. The vibe inside was great, too!
We'll be making this place a tradition every time we visit Okoboji! Try it!

Kid-friendliness: We had 4 kiddos with us and it was no problem at all. Staff was super kind to them.

Last Saturday was our first visit to the Okoboji Dough Company and my mother-in-law, daughters, and I had such a great experience! The food was amazing (you have to try their pizza's), the staff was so nice, and the atmosphere was very cool, very Lake vibes! I was really impressed at the service they were able to provide with only 3 staff on a busy Saturday afternoon at 1pm. We will definitely be going back!!

Great waiter, and the pizza was excellent. No diet Mountain Dew was the only thing between them and five stars. This restaurant was a great break from the beer, beer, and beer restaurants closer to Arnold's Park.

We loved our fried pickles and pizza. The hot Italian pizza was amazing. The service was very friendly.

Vegetarian options: You can easily order a pizza without meats

Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free pizza crust (but cannot guarantee zero cross contaminatation) and have clearly labeled GF apps on the menu.

Parking: They have a free parking lot, it isn't huge but we easily found a parking space

Kid-friendliness: A great place to bring kids who like pizza

When we came in and where immediately greeted by the waitress, who was lovely and personable.
They served us quickly despite the fact the restaurant was quite full. The food was delicious, especially the dough.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the music was fun and the whole place had a nautical theme.

We had fried pickles, dough bites, and fried ravioli for appetizers. Super delicious and would recommend it; especially the dough bites. The drink is a Strawberry mojito and it was lovely. My boyfriend and I agreed on the Crab rangoon pizza. The staff was super friendly! I didn't get pictures of our food because we were starving after golfing.

Food was good. Service was good. Really really didn’t like how when I looked at my texted receipt on the way home I found that the server charged us a “large group” gratuity. We had two couples and our kids. Kids were well behaved and made almost no mess
Nothing was said to us about it and because the bill was on a tablet and since I selected the texted receipt I couldn’t see it at all. The waitress was good, but not worth the $40+ dollar tip we were deceived into giving her. I don’t deal with business that operate deceptively like that. We won’t be back

Super yummy pizza! We loved sitting on the patio with our kids to chow on some pizza while on vacation in Okoboji. Our waitress was super sweet, attentive and fun to talk to. We had the pepperoni pizza and Canadian bacon pizza and both were very good. I want to try the caprese pizza next time- it looks very tasty and fresh!

Kid-friendliness: We had an infant, two toddlers, and a kindergartener all present for dinner and were never made to feel as though we were too loud or out of place. We loved the option of being on the patio just in case noise levels from our table were loud ;) very kid friendly atmosphere and the kids loved the pizza!

First off, we love brick oven pizzas so this should’ve been a win for us, but it was not. When we first got there, it was not busy yet so the atmosphere was OK. But as time went on and the restaurant got busier it just got louder and louder. There is absolutely no sound dampening anywhere so it is extremely loud and everything echoes. I’m on disability for chronic migraines and I wanted to get out of that restaurant as fast as possible, so that was one issue. The other issue was when we ordered drinks, my daughter ordered a Mr Pibb. What he brought to us was just a glass of carbonated water. We told him that we think the syrup is out. He just looked at the cup and said Yep we’re out what else do you want to drink. We actually had to ask him to change out the syrup so she could actually have what she wanted to drink. I ordered water, and the water tasted like it was actually contaminated with something. We brought it up to the server and he said there’s nothing that he can do. I ended up just ordering a can of beer so I could have something to drink. Then, When we got our pizza, it was just OK. The actual toppings tasted good, but the outside crust had absolutely no flavor. We probably won’t be back unless they fix the issue with their water, add sound dampening of some sort, and maybe put some butter or garlic or something on the crust so it doesn’t just taste like dough
