Food was excellent, big portions for our broccoli beef and cashew chicken lunch specials (took home at least a third each). Good soups, and relatively inexpensive. Lunch specials for 2 totaled just $21 with tax. Will come back

I’ve never been treated so rudely. We were just finishing up with our meal and it’s 8:31pm and lady came up to our table and said we are closed, you need to leave now. I just spent $65 and that’s how I’m treated. I will never go back there.

Food was Chinese and tasted good, but was not outstanding in any way. Staff is well trained and have years of experience. I asked for my chopsticks, she seemed surprised but I enjoy using them. Myself included, I love to meet, speak,and learn from each person that I interact with them. If you are in northwest Iowa check out The Iowa Great Lakes, and nearby Spencer. One of the worst Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten at. I'm not much for leaving reviews but this place awful. Wait staff demeanor was if they didn't want to be there. Ask for a diet Coke they said yes brought me back a diet Pepsi. They don't carry diet Coke and that would have been nice to know when I ordered. Two separate entrees both equally disgusting. Crab rangoons tasted fried then reheated in an air fryer. Pretty much the same with the sesame chicken as well. The Mongolian beef tastes like you were eating shoe leather. Maybe given the price of the food and the reviews online I was expecting better service than food.

The food and service was great. I really have only one negative and that has nothing to do with food or service. Access to the restaurant is difficult due to the endless road construction at the Lakes. We had to turn around to find an entrance from the highway. Worthwhile for the food. But a major pain!

It was a little pricy but once I got home and saw the amount of food and how good it tasted it was well worth it!!

Best restaurant in the lakes area. Quick, relaxed, clean, inexpensive for portions, and leftovers the next day make coworkers jealous.
