We were blessed to be able to spend time at Picks Resort on Lake Okoboji. It was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. Diane, the owner, made us feel so welcomed and she was committed to making our experience exactly what we wanted. That seems to be thing of the past in most of our experiences these days. We loved sitting on our patio enjoying the fantastic ambiance and then being able to walk to Arnold’s Park and all the restaurants and shops in the area. We want this to be an annual experience.

Stopped by this morning before baseball tournaments and the donuts were amazing and the young lady at the drive through was fantastic with recommendations on coffee and donuts! We will definitely be back!

We just booked another 4 days here. My wife and I have been going since 2009! The hotels cost just as much as Picks but you don't get the service like you do here. We absolutely love how close we are to the water, eateries, Arnolds Park, and all the little shops there. It has been 2 years since we have been there, but when we were there in 2018 they were updating the cabins (which definitely needed an update). The rooms are small but perfect for a place you spend little time. We will be customers there for as long as they are open!.
I get their Fit Frappes a couple times a week. I absolutely LOVE THEM. My only suggestion is make sure everyone knows how to make them. Today's was pure liquid. It definitely wasn't blended with Ice. Other than this one today, you need to try one and add the peanut butter

My coconut iced latte is always delicious BUT what makes it even better is the employees are always helpful & kind. Working in the food industry can be so frustrating & annoying BUT these peeps are always doing their absolute best. Mahalo’s will always have my business.

The thought of staying in a cabin as I had as a girl sounded fun! And to have the view was going to be an added bonus! I was glad i had brought an extension cord cuz not to many plug ins. These were built in the mid 1940s but my cabin was was great! I know next time to take dish soap and paper plates/cups along with required towels! I always travel with my own pillow but they were comfortable and so was the bed! And I’d have a blanked for lounging on the couch or outside enjoying the view! The owner and boyfriend are very friendly! A quick walk to Arnold’s Park so lots of yummy places to eat and of course shopping! You can jump in the water off the dock too! I hope to be back!
