This is not a place you come if you’re from out of town. Sure they have frosty beers but they also have frosty employees. If they don’t know you they don’t serve you and if you ask them to they’re incredibly rude. If you’re looking for a bar with great atmosphere, service and televisions you’d be better off at Nautical.

Spot on. By the water, great wait staff. Indoors too noisy so we sat outdoors on deck overlooking water. It was 90+ degrees, but the breeze from the water helped. We had the walleye sandwich. Awesome. Good flavor, nice "branded" bun, sauce and condiments inside it were nice. Good fries, crisp and golden. It was a long drive for us, over 5 hours but just that lunch made it worthwhile. We'll be back!

Smile with miles is the best place place to be in Okoboji. Truly a good place to take the edge off and I've never been so plastered in my life
Do yourselves a favor and visit the Okoboji Store if you find yourself in the area. Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 teenagers) enjoyed 3 hours there over Labor Day weekend. Just reading the menu was enough to start the fun with the clever combinations and fun titles. The teens loved the selection of mocktails. There was entertaining live music. Our food was delicious (especially the Store burger). Don’t miss ordering the Lemonade Stand dessert. I’ve never had anything quite like it and I’ll be dreaming about it for some time. This place is just perfectly crafted to lead you into a fun time. The kids played Gaga ball and basketball. We had a family cornhole tournament. And we all enjoyed watching what we coined “the boat parade” going back and forth under the bridge right next to us!

We ate here twice while on a mini-vacation and the food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. Super friendly servers, excellent food and cocktails and a fabulous place to watch all the boats go from East to West lake. We will definitely be back when we return to the area! Bought some good looking merch too.

Okoboji is a great family spot, but man can eating out really wrack up the cost of the trip—that is until we found Smiles with Miles.Now, to be clear, it's a dive bar, but in the best possible way. Dani was an amazing host for us, giving us some amazing recommendations. All the food is fry-food, but for less than $30 we had our family of four well fed and dry during a storm.Dani was great to recommend a lot of other spots around town, from beaches to hotspots to check out. She made our kids feel at home, and again the food is delicious. Oh, and for those who may not know, a tavern is essentially a maid rite, or a loose-meat sandwich. It's delicious and peppery. Definitely recommend this place!

You guys are genius! We had 8 people .. we waited a little but when seated the service was terrific the food was fantastic. 3 of the kids were 6,5,and 4 and they were busy building legos! Whoever dreamed this up knew about kids. Loved it !
