After looking @ the online menu from home, I was excited to try it. Went there on a Thursday night, 90min before they closed & it felt like we were bothering them by walking in (there were only a couple of other people in there finishing their beers). The ribs were dry & I had ordered 1/4 chicken, which apparently means a small dry chicken breast. My baked potato was tiny, dry & had obviously been microwaved with only a few shreds of cheese on it. Disappointed & in no hurry to go back.

Terrible, called police on someone from Vegas that had a beer in hand that was going to leave not knowing you can't carry beer bar 2 bar.. Grabbed her and pushed her then called police.. Keep away from this place "period" The woman didn't even resist.. The only person working was a young lady with dark short hair that was very apologetic... Stay Away!!!!

Wife had gizzards. They're hard enough to play golf with my daughter-in-law, had a brisket and it's all fat except for maybe an ounce of real meat in it and complaining to the waitress didn't do any good. She didn't care a bit. Never recommend this place to anybody

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Hands down the WORST restaurant BBQ I've ever eaten.

The "special" was 4 small pork ribs with absolutely zero smoke ring(or smoke flavor), served slightly above room temperature, so tough I didn't bother chewing half the meat off the ribs, and served with a little plastic cup of what I swear was cookies BBQ sauce.

Absolutely disgusting.

We had a hankering for some BBQ tonight and one of the shop owners at the Emporium recommended Smokin’ Jakes, so we gave it a shot. The three of us had our dog with us so we got takeout. Let’s break down the good and the bad with some good ole pros and cons as to why this is an only a 3-Star Review. The good (pros):- Tasty French Dip with a good amount of beef, cheese, and flavor.- Solid salad with a variety of greens, fresh bell peppers, broccoli, and homemade ranch.- Although though, a little salty, the baked beans were very tasty and full of flavor.- Very good potato salad. Almost as good as we make at home.- The meat was tender and juicy. The bad (cons)- Make sure when you order to go that you check your boxes for order accuracy. We ordered three meat sampler, got back to our hotel and it was missing the pork the turkey. When we returned the brisket, because we are honest folks, they gave us a smaller portion of BBQ sauce and almost shorted us the baked beans.- Also, when they provided us the remake with all three meats, they loaded us up with brisket fat this time (see photo) and made me instantly regret my honesty returning the incorrect order. No good deed goes unpunished.- Overall, there is no real smoke flavor on the turkey, brisket, or sliced pork. Heck, that chain around the country with a similar name to Infamous Dan’s has much more of a smoked flavor on Smokin’ Jakes meats. Maybe I was expecting too much with the name of this establishment.

I have been here multiple times, and every time, it is always good. Service is always good, super friendly, and nice. Everything is affordable, and you get what you pay for, would go back.

Went there. They cleaned a table for us. Then the guy at the bar was rude about sitting at the table, they never came over to us to ask what we wanted or to give us menus. We waiting a period of time a few people came in after us and got service so we just left.

We went to eat during Winter games! There were 3 tables that came after us and got served before us! We sat there for 30 minutes without even being asked what we want for drinks. We finally ordered drinks and asked to order food as well and she said we needed to do drinks first. We ordered drinks (6 out of 8 waters) and we never got our drinks after waiting another 15 minutes! The one other table that was there with us got their food but we didn’t get anything. We left and they didn’t say anything to us! Super poor service and wait staff! I would recommend not going there at all! Not worth it!

Unfortunately we visited over the winter games weekend, our large group knows it’s hard to serve when busy- so we always try to be patient. We sat down at 2:30 ish and didn't even get served a drink before 3:10 and weren’t allowed to order food yet. Keep in mind other members of our group had already eaten and done. We ended up leaving around 3:15 due to not putting a food order in yet or having drinks on the table (the drinks were 6/8 waters).
