The Wine Bar is awesome. Highly recommend taking advantage of their nightly specials. Staff was excellent.

The Wine Bar has all you can drink wine on Tuesdays. Talk about a dream come true! The gallery portion was really neat with a lot of photos of the lake and the Arnold’s park amusement area. I had the best Cabernet Sauvignon ever!

WORST SERVICE EVER.My wife and I went in on a Tuesday night for a drink; there was no server to be found for 10 minutes. By the time a server did show, she spent her time talking with her friends outside. Then another server magically appears, still no service at our table though. If I hadn't walked up to the bar to order our drinks I we would have gone completely unnoticed. The server didnt come to our side of the bar once in the 90 minutes we were there. It wasn't even busy. There were three occupied tables, including ours.If I could give this place zero stars I would. We live in the area year-round, and I can confidently say we will never come back here.

Very friendly staff, great selection of wine. I had the house Pinot noir and it was delightful. I sat at a table outside and worked on my laptop. Great WiFi connection. I’ll definitely be back!

Wife and I stopped and had a glass of wine. The girl who served us was really nice and helpful and they had a fairly decent selection. That being said we weren't really into the ambience that we imagined it would be. Not sure if it's the seating arrangement, the two rooms separated by a single doorway or the decorations on the wall but it wasn't all we thought it was going to be. It's not horrible by any means, don't get us wrong, but it could be a bit better. We did notice some global warming guest speaker advertisements up on the wall as "art" which we thought was a bit weird to have in a place like this. Also there wasn't any background music which added to the somewhat odd ambience.Needs a bit more work to make it the classy establishment you would expect but it definitely has a good staff and they treat you right.

Wonderful wine, great people that own it. Fun times always.

One of my absolute favorite places to go and chill. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Live music nights are the best.

Pretentious. Not worth going there. Mediocre in all respects. The hor d’oeuvres of cheeses and meats are barely adequate and the wine passable.

Nice local venue. Enjoyable, nice selection.

Disclaimer upfront: I am a local who visits here nearly every week. The wine bar and art gallery are two distinct spaces but each brims over to the benefit of the other. The Wine Bar, run by Rick and Polly, offers a selection of house wines representing various grapes and locations. Traditional and trendy beers are available, along with some soda pop and bottled water. They also offer a selection of really good sweet and savory appetizers to help you spend more time there, listening to subtle music. During the summer, the place can get packed with weekly live entertainment on the patio out front. The owners seem to have a habit of hiring friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and attractive servers. Shortcomings are few. When busy, it can get loud, as there is nothing for sound attenuation on the Wine Bar side. Consequently, we stake out some of the comfy leather chairs or sofas on the Art Gallery side. It's often much quieter, and David Thoreson's photographs of Okoboji and elsewhere (all for sale, BTW) grace the walls. This is a venue for a more relaxed evening out at Okoboji, something apart from the raucous Arnolds Park bar scene.

Stopped by for an after dinner drink. The house cab was good and reasonably priced at $7. The place was intimate and uncrowded. A nice alternative to the bar scene.
