Food was gr8. We had our 40th High-school reunion there. They prepared some delish appetizers. We then later ordered a surf and turf entree that was gr8! And of course, the beer was cold. Service was gr8!!
we found this place luck. Ate there on a Saturday evening the ribeye steaks where spot on for the way we ordered them. drinks where good too not overly expensive. Will definitely be back if in the area again soon. I'll give them a 10 out of 10.
The small town of Barnes City, Iowa is fortunate to have the continuance of both the Tavern and a restaurant. The bartenders are customer service oriented. Especially, during busy times and big events. It’s worth a stop if you are in the area. You can’t beat the food, prices or cold drinks.
