Cool little small town bar with a cool vibe. Bartenders take really good care of you. There is not a lot of room to move around. It's a very small venue. Don't expect a super clean, updated bar. The barstools have duct tape on them. Stop in and grab a Busch latte. The bar has a couple of tv's on the wall to watch the game.
This is a classic hole in the wall establishment. I say that as a positive. The food is wonderful and the staff is pleasant and checks in just the right amount. The Spare Burger is a blend of American cheese and cheddar cheese with bacon. I suggest you get yours with onions as I did. Delicious. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 only because I believe 5 stars is hard to obtain. The one negative I had was the pick it yourself pickles. The pickles come in a Tupperware and is a free...
Very good burgers and good service. Not a huge menu so they can do well what they offer. Good selection of tap and bottled beers. Talk about no frills!!! We didn’t even get plates, just a square of waxed paper. So if you are squeamish about germs, steer clear. The bartender served our burger on a paper with her thumb on top to keep it in place. I’ve also never been served pickles on the side quite like this place-see picture.
