Local family run restaurant and bakery. Right off Main Street, so parking is easy when times are slow. Menu is a bit pricey for breakfast food, but in a small town, your options are limited. Great atmosphere, open concept. Formally, the First National Bank. The inside has good character with exposed brick and industrial ceilings. You can watch the kitchen in full action, which leads to the noise. Good family spot, but it may be too loud when the place fills in. Limited bathrooms ?

Kid-friendliness: Child seats are available.

Excellent cafe! Delicious food and reasonable prices. Added bonus that it’s an LGBT-friendly business! Love the loaded hashbrowns and toast but everything is great!

I stopped into Sugarpie while visiting the Hospital in town. After the eying the fresh made bread I told the baker about this amazing bread I had while visiting Denmark. His wife chimed in.. "Well, this is America." I found her and her comment to be rude and tasteless. Probably much like the the food she tries to prepare. I would not recommend based on the service I experienced.

I have stopped at this great little place several times. I love that they have gluten free bakery items. I've also had their lunch and it was so good. We will be back!!

Visiting from our of town and wanted to stop by to check it out.I got the gluten-free s'mores cookie squares, red velvet muffins, coconut macaroons, and a couple of cupcakes, all of which were delicious. The gentleman at the front even helped us out by adding a Disney princess ring to one of the cupcakes for my neice.I recommend stopping by to check it out. They even have breakfas which we didn't get to try, but hope to try next time we're in town.
