As someone with many ridiculous food allergies I get really excited when the server pays attention and the kitchen gets it right. This happened here at La Carreta last night. Keep up the good work.
The food was okay, definitely better options in Ames. My girlfriend and I came here the portions are a good size it’s just the food was okay. We asked if Diet Pepsi and neither of us got Diet Pepsi. We might come back for a second chance.
LaCarreta is the best place in Boone for authentic Mexican food and dining. I have such fond memories of my family and I dining here throughout the years. The food and service is always amazing. The fried ice scream is top notch, and they serve the best chips and salsa too! LaCarreta is family owned and operated, and by dining here, you’re supporting the most wonderful people. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! ❤️
