LaCarreta is the best place in Boone for authentic Mexican food and dining. I have such fond memories of my family and I dining here throughout the years. The food and service is always amazing. The fried ice scream is top notch, and they serve the best chips and salsa too! LaCarreta is family owned and operated, and by dining here, you’re supporting the most wonderful people. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! ❤️
Stopped here for drinks and nachos after a round of golf at Honey Creek. Good service. Huge and pretty decent house margarita, but the seasoned beef on the nachos looked unusual and made my buddy sick later that day. He didn't have anything other than the nachos, so they didn't agree with him. It's worth noting that I did NOT get sick. It's okay Mexican food for Boone, but it's a far cry from what I get in Arizona. If nothing else, it may be worth a visit...
Came here from out of state to do rail explorers. the service and food was great and near rail explorers !! Originally had gone some place else and left because of how bad it was and a local recommended la carreta to us. It definitely was worth it!
