Wife and I stopped by on their Thursday Wing Night to see what it was all about. We arrived shortly before 4:00 and it was nice and quiet, pretty clean for the most part (greasy hand prints on the windows) Salad bar was reasonably fresh, food was hot. On the other hand, there was only one pizza set out with some breadstick things. The pizza was ok, but not worth eating more than one piece. The mash potatoes and gravy was the usual box stuff (bland and no flavor) and the veggies (corn and green beans) was not of a high quality and flavor. So pretty much disappointing all around.
The chicken was good, hot but the wings were a major let down. Nothing like the pictures. The boneless wings were really nasty. Tasted like something from the big box store down the street.
We both wondered if the Manager or the people preparing this stuff ever actually tasted any of it, and if they do, do they say to themselves "We can do better"
We wanted to find out about the wing night, now we know. We won't be going back. They really need to up their game if they want locals to keep coming back and not rely on customers that are just passing through.
(Oh, and the ice cream had a slight smell of cleaning products and you could taste it.)

So much has improved at the Boone Pizza Ranch! Out visit over the lunch time for the buffet was by far the best it’s been in a long time. Matter of fact, stopped going out there months ago and had a craving for the chicken so tried it again today! Very clean, exceptionally well stocked with a lot of variety buffet! Even the dessert area had a lot of choices and just awesome! 👏 👏

Took our grandkids to the fun zone and then ate at the buffet.
The manager there was awesome, we ordered chicken to go right before closing & they cooked it all up fresh and was so friendly and accommodating I will definitely be a regular

I ordered chicken with a side of buffalo sauce and ranch when I got home I opened the 12 piece chicken. It was all soaked buffalo sauce and they gave me a side of ranch. They replaced it with regular chicken with a side of ranch and buffalo sauce but it took another 40 minutes and driving. And yes they asked for the buffalo chicken back.
