Was here for a bridal shower and had one of the best lattes I’ve ever had, The Amber. Highly recommend, wish I lived closer!
Jessica and Shelby are absolutely the best in the business. Both are friendly as you walk in the door. They know what their customers like and can make you drinks you love even if they aren't on the menu! Highly recommend getting you caffeine boost here!

I would love to change my review!
My husband and I found this place on Google and drove to Brooklyn specifically to try it out.
We got out of our truck in the pouring rain and ran up to the door only to find it locked with no one to be seen inside and no display for reason of closure. Online hours say they are open daily but they were not open at 10 a.m. on Saturday. I find it rude to not consider customers, or potential customers, and neglect to update information online. It was a waste of our time and gas.
Please, update your hours. I hope to change my review in the future.
I'm sorry, Owner, I cannot figure out how to respond to you so I'll write it here. Unless you have more than one location, yes, we were at the right one, in Brooklyn, Iowa. We were there at 10:00 a.m. so according to you, the establishment should have been open, yet, the door was locked.

This is our favorite coffee shop! Great coffee and pastries, beautiful decor and atmosphere, and even a fun play corner for the kids!
My friends and I got the The Amber drink, the blondie machiato (with oatmilk), and the Smores protein shake. We all liked our drinks very much.
The Amber was just sweet enough to taste yummy but not be overpowering sugary. The Smores protein shake was also very subtle. I think people who don't normally like the taste of protein powder would like it. The blondie machiato was the real super star, very comparable to 7Brew's! We got it with oatmilk so ours wasn't as thick and heavy feeling as 7Brew's but still tasty!
We also tried the protein balls and breakfast burritos. The breakfast burritos are HUGE. They taste homemade, just prepared and wrapped in advance. You can take them cold or warmed up, the barista will ask your preference. The only suggestion I have is that they were a little dry. We took our order to go so none of us thought to ask if they had any sauce to add to it until we were already gone and eating in the car.
The store itself was clean and VERY cute. I was also very impressed and surprised by the speed of service as well. Small, local coffee shops usually move a little slow (which I understand) but we got our larger order really quickly, an added bonus.
Would recommend and would go again. :)

I love this coffee shop. The atmosphere and decor is inviting and peaceful. The menu is fantastic. The baristas are the best. And the coffee is amazing! I go out of my way to come here.
Stopped in from California. Holy shit that was a good coffee! Really neat space. The two in the step brothers spoof poster - funny.

Worth the 5 min detour off i80! My husband and I stopped while traveling for the holidays. I had a hot brown sugar shaker and he had a bacon, sausage, egg and cheese croissant with the Amber coffee. Cheerful and quick service in a festive-ly decorated old building. They had a small stage and I can imagine listening to live music there in the intimate setting. My husband commented his drink was the perfect blend of chocolate and caramel. Also enjoyed the cups, which have a built in protective sleeve. Great experience!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free snack options
Kid-friendliness: Kids play area with chalkboard near the door.

Found this little spot while traveling. Reasonably priced food that is good quality’s we all had a croissant sandwich well made. Personally I’d serve them in a different container cuz the plastic trapped in air/moisture and made the really delicious croissants soft. Still was great. Ordered two coffees the butter cow latte was very good. The grandstand macchiato is very sweet but good flavors. Mine was served with a straw. Typically I prefer to sip a machiatto from the top. My son played in the area and we enjoyed eating breakfast and enjoying our coffees on the couch. Teenage staff so the kind of service you expect from teenagers. The atmosphere is nice. Good decor choices. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!
