Had the country fried steak with gravy, eggs, hash browns, wheat toast, and sausage links. Eggs were spot on for over easy. Everything else was cooked fine but really just average food. Service was great.

Have eaten here many times and will always recommend it! The chicken fried steak is absolutely delicious. Also best pies around. 10/10
We have been going here for years!!! Always tell people about it! We went out of our way to come today instead of the many restaurants near our home. We go to order the same thing we’ve always ordered for the past 5+ years and the waitress said they can’t do what we want because it will make the omelette too big!!! What!!!!? She said I can have the lady come out and we said okay. She comes out and says”I’m the owner! We don’t that”!And we say we’ve been coming here for years and they’ve always have no problem! And she says “well idk who’s doing it but they’re not suppose to” just the rudeness in her voice was enough to say cancel our order! You wonder why your business is slow, maybe you should treat your customers better!!!
Traveling on hwy 22 brought us to Clark's Landing at breakfast time. When we walked in, we stood for some minutes, wondering what to do. Should we wait to be shown to a table or just sit anywhere? Finally, one of the 3-4 workers behind the counter told us to sit anywhere we wanted. We sat and waited... and waited... No water... No menu... Nobody... We were surrounded by waitresses talking to customers and clearing tables but none had the time to welcome us to their establishment or provide a menu. We ended up leaving the restaurant and getting back on the road. Breakfast in Muscatine at downtown Waffle House was EXCELLENT. And we left a huge tip.
Fantastic food that is as down home as you can get. Service is always awesome. Thank you for always doing amazing. Keep up the great work !!
Upon first sight , this place looks like a run down creeper house. Once inside you find a small quaint little diner arrangement with more seating than expected. I’ve eaten here before and I’m impressed every time . The service is absolutely worthy of a five star bistro in A large city . The waiter/ waitresses very friendly and work hard to please you. The place was nearly full and almost everyone inside , customers especially, were extremely chatty and friendly. The food was definitely some of the very best on the planet! I’ve never seen my sons face light and relax into pure joy like the moment he bit into his Cowboy burger. Myself, could not get enough of the mouth watering crinkle fries done perfectly, without salt clouding the taste , not greasy at all , and the melt in your mouth French dip was the best I’ve ever had across the country. It didn’t come on a chewy hard bread. It came on a very tasty moist perfect roll.i was even more supremely happy when the unfinished portion of my sandwich was nearly the same as it when it arrived in my plate at the restaurant. I will return again . I especially recommend the cheese balls and corn nuggets as appetizers, and so many people rave about the Saturday special Fajitas . Portions were very well sized for the price . And I nearly forgot to mention the fresh home made ranch dressing is to die for!

We ate there today on an off-hour. The food was terrific. The coconut cream pie was perfect. Best of all, the service was timely, thoughtful, and exactly what you wish all restaurants would strive for. Our appetizer was brought out so efficiently that our hangry kids didn't have time to get restless. The sides were brought shortly after. No glass was ever empty. This is the service that tips were designed for. Thank you, Clark's.

I finally ventured out to this little gem. The food was absolutely phenomenal!!! Portions were HUGE and I felt like I needed to be rolled down the ramp. 😂😂 Pricing is absolutely amazing also. Waitstaff and owner were kind, courteous and checked in on us frequently! Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.
