I was so excited to go to Taco John's because I hadn't went in a while, last time I had went was in Wisconsin and it was fairly priced and very good. So , I leave the swan lake campground and drive all the way to this exact location in Carroll ' order two tacos and an order of oles' it came out to 12.00 and some change -smh' the taco meat wasn't even cooked , the tacos were smashed and didn't have anything on them, and tasted so funny I ended up giving them toy dog because I didn't want to totally waste my hard earned money and I wondered if the dog would even be ok ' the way those tacos were. Smh' I ate the oles' kept the receipt which I still have but didn't call and get a meal replacement yet ' I was worried they'd try to do something to it since I would have to tell them how bad it was.

The truth is, the product was very cold and the cheese they gave us in half the dip according to the menu includes two. It took 30 minutes to deliver our food.

They tried charging me an extra 6 dollars today, And another time which charged almost an additional 20. I always get two bean burritos in a small order of potato lays. When I order you The bean burritos are always under-filled and more shell then anything.

Liked taco johns for a long time, but may I suggest you quit charging me for Nacho cheese since your people constantly forget to put it in the bag. Or they forget to put sour cream on my wife's tacos, or like today they forget both. Wasn't given a recept so now I can't get what I paid for

I spent 20 minutes in the drive thru to get my order and there was only 2-3 cars in front of me. I watched at least 4 cars leave due to how slow they were. I ordered a crunchy chicken and potatoe burrito and a small potatoe ole with cheese sauce. There was no potatoes in the burrito and we didn't get the cheese sauce. Either this place needs better management or they need to close so that something better can take their place.

This location was one of my favorite spots at one time. Within the last couple of months the quality of both the food and the employees has dropped to the lowest level possible. Just the other day I waited in the drive thru for over 25 minutes of my 30 minute lunch break before having to leave the line of cars waiting and return to work hungry.
Tonight my wife picked up a six pack and pound for the kids on her way home. The order was for six crispy tacos and nacho dip for the potatoes. She received all soft shells and one cup of nacho dip that was not even half full. The amount of beef in each taco could barely have been an ounce each. Needless to say, we have two boys that are now raiding the fridge. Oh yeah, that 6 ounces of beef and some potatoes cost $18.50!!!! I can go get two filet mignon at the grocery store for those prices!
So long, Taco Johns of Carroll, you lost a long time regular customer today
