Very disappointed! Used to love this place. Sweet and sour chicken was overcooked and dry, to the point of no chicken left inside. Sesame chicken was a soggy mess. The egg soup had stale water taste, if that makes since. Ragoons had no filling, seemed dried up. Hadn't been to in years and prob won't be back. Just wasted 35 dollars on food could barely eat.

A hidden gem. It's been just off the square in Cenerville, Iowa for years. Great food. Comes out steaming hot. Friendly service.

I grew up in centerville, so naturally I have fond yummy memories of Ching Dow. Yep my fond memories deceive me, the crab rangoon were to die for. The chicken general sao was not chicken and not appealing at all was not a good taste. Was more like pork. Th sauce was all wrong and I asked for extra spicy and got nearly no spice. It was tossed out immediately The sweet and sour chicken was a different breading and changed the whole meal. No pineapple which is a staple of sweet and sour chicken one onion piece and a few green peppers not great at all. The chicken lo main was a hit. He generously gave us 2 bags of 8 fortune cookies a piece which was nice yet ALL COOKIES WERE stale.
Always 100% satisfied with my experience here!! The crabrangoons are my fav and they are the best around!!

I was here with two others we all got the dinner special, the other two entrees were good and not good (to my taste) but my entree tasted pretty good. The egg roll tasted great but the soup didn't taste that good. To add, the service was below average.
