This visit really brought back some great memories. Used to walk here from CHS back in the 70's. Had the cheeseburger special w/fries and a root beer. Worth the wait on a near 100° day. 1 of THE only local "joints" left in Centerville. Pretty sure they have a food truck they park off of 18th Street on the south side. That's my next stop! Stay tuned please.

We stopped here on our way through on Highway 2. Typical small town drive in. Husband and I both got the pork tenderloin sandwich and daughter got chicken nuggets. Tenderloin was bigger than my face! Very tender, not greasy. Delicious! We got large French fries (which was 2 big bags - way more than we needed with the huge tenderloins) and large cheese balls (cheese curds). Cheese curds were warm, soft, cheesy goodness. Daughter said the nuggets reminded her of McDonald's...
