Crossroads of the universe. If you dont know now you know. 4$ sunday Wapsi Tacos are the shiznite! Awesome place to get in/out of the Wapsi. Awesome boat ramp. Killer events for Memorial day and Labor day. Where bikers stare at cowboys who are laughing at the hippies who are wondering if they'll get outta here alive. Friday night steak night is on point. Voted best dive bar 2012 by the LA Weekly. The Frolic Room has been around since Prohibition ended and continues to offer a paradoxically classy dive-bar ambiance. Bartenders aren't over-tattooed out-of-work actors but suited gentlemen who will remember your favorite spirits every time you step in. The walls feature caricatures of Groucho Marx and Albert Einstein, two people who almost certainly never drank here but whose images provide a kitschy, old-school charm.
This place will always be home. Earthy, friendly, genuine, eclectic, great beverage selection, good food, awesome open mic and love music and the absolute greatest collection of graffiti for miles around <3 Kimberli
