I loved double dip as a kid and live an hour away now but try to catch it when I'm in town as an adult ....finally caught them open today and man what a disappointment! The man who took our order was extremely rude, the place was filthy dirty, and the rude man at the counter and the lady cooking everything argued the whole time we were there, right in front of kids and other customers. Very unprofessional! The ice cream was good but that was about the only thing!

Tenderloin basket is my favorite but pizzas and buffalo chicken wrap are also exceptional. Homemade ice cream is unique with delicious flavors changing frequently.

Absolutely love Double-Dip and more! The owner is amazing! There is a lady that works there that has been incredibly rude while ordering delivery as I know it's hard to work in the food industry it's also huge to have customer service she was just plain mean almost had me not come back but Nick and the younger gals and the food is above all thanks for having me and hope that lady gets some customer service classes 😂

First off, their ice cream is probably the best in the state of Iowa. That includes their chocolate malts. I really love their cheeseburgers and hamburgers along with onion rings. Finally, Nick's Pizza is their real claim to fame. It's delicious, outstandingly delicious. Give the double dip a try. You'll be glad that you did.

The food would have been better if they had paid more attention.... I ordered a walking taco - no tomato no onion no salsa add sour cream. I got - in o tomato and onion that was correct but it had a lot of salsa on it and the little plastic container they said was sour cream was actually ranch dressing. It was fairly dark and I was eating in the car so I didn't realized it wasn't sour cream until I had dumped the entire thing in and took a bite. I know I'm a picky eater but I like what I like and my dinner was ruined. It's kind of an epidemic, people in the food service industry all over have forgotten how important it is to listen to the customer. It's kind of a silent you'll get what I give you. It's bad business. Smaller tip, if any tip, for wait staff and it could cost you repeat business.

I absolutely adore this little place! They have great food made to order and tons of ice cream options! I highly recommend the taco fries, and I always get a peanut butter, hot fudge, caramel, and banana malt. I mentioned that to show how crazy the selections are that they will make for you. The service is awesome, and there is plenty of seating inside and a picnic table out front. The parking lot is a little small, but there's also street parking available. They also do take out and delivery and have very reasonable prices! It's a great little ice cream shop with a very pleasant atmosphere!
