Dustin met us at the door and was very personable. We ordered the specials of the day: homemade Mexican sopa with beef and fresh veggies and Italian cheese manicotti with fresh marinara sauce. They make everything from scratch using local ingredients. It was well worth the drive from Des Moines.

We went there with some friends. My wife had beef and noodles over mashed potatoes and I had enchiladas. My friend asked if they had guacamole and he said I'll go make you some. It was fresh and excellent. We will definitely go back.

I wanted to love my food..but sorry to say it just wasn't good. Ordered a steak sandwich and a BLT. The steak sandwich was so grissly. He only could eat half of it. The BLT was slightly better but I thought it was toasted because the bread felt on the staler side. The steak sandwich alone was over ten dollars. So disappointed. sorry because I so wanted to love it.

The special today was meatloaf,mashed potatoes & gravy, & green beans for $10. (drink included) This was my first time earing here so I decided to try the special & a piece of cherry pie. (pie was $3.50) I was very pleased with what I got. The food was delicious, the portions were very good, well worth the $10. The lady that was working was very very nice. I will definitely eat there again & highly recommend everybody to try this place. You won't be disappointed
My wife got 2 burger meals to go with tater tots. Very good meal tots cooked to my perfection not overly cooked. Burger was very tasty. I can't wait to try other items from here.

I recently treated myself to a wonderful dinner (yes, it's dinner to us country folk) of comfort cooking from Kell's Kitchen. I initially thought that I was in the wrong place when I peeked in and didn't see a dining room. However, the weather was agreeable, so I strolled across the street and selected a bench under one of the mature shade trees on the courthouse lawn for my outdoor dining experience. Tender slices of savory roast beef made the delicious center of the first-rate hot beef sandwich. It was a right pleasant repast to match the pleasant interaction with the kind folks at Kell's Kitchen. Thank you for the best carryout meal I've ever had.
