The food is great, there's maybe two or three waitresses that keeps coffee in your cup, but otherwise it's good service. I would recommend Dave's restaurant to anyone that likes buffets or orders off of the menu. They're a lot cheaper than pizza ranch, even though I like pizza ranch once in a while. Make Dave's restaurant your go to place for great food.
Cozy and welcoming diner off of highway 218. Delicious food and low prices (don't tell them about inflation.) Also got to witness a very cute moment when the North Butler Football Team passed out roses to everyone in the restaurant in an attempt to spread kindness. Small town kindness is still alive out in Charles City!

. Place was near full.. Breakfast Food was pretty good, however, our piece of chicken tasted like old grease.. a little pink in the middle is always a turn off for me... but everything else seemed yummy.
