My chicken nuggets were old and hard, I had to throw them away. My fries were not fresh, the burger was dripping in grease. It would have been great if they simply drained the burger; but nope, they want to give me a heart attack maybe 🤔. And the lemonade is so sweet and sugary, not in a good way. I had to add water to it. When does the quality of the food outweigh the speed of service? Please 🙏🏼 you can do better than this 🥺.

Last Tuesday I was driving through town and stopped at your place. I came inside because due to my allergies post covid it's just easier to explain them in person. The person who took my order was bobby (?) bluish hair, pigtails? I tried to explain that my allergies could cause problems so that I needed my burger made specific for me. After covid I became allergic to both gluten and dairy. So I wanted my quarter pounders made without bread or cheese. I know this is a very strange request but that is where my life is. Bobby explained to me that this was a fast food restaurant in all the food was pre-made. I reviewed for her that I had allergies and was just trying to navigate them while getting a quick meal and I needed to get back on the road. I wish shocked when she told me this was not Burger King and I could not have it my way. I recognize I'm asking a lot altering a already well oil process. But I was hoping in the spirit of customer service that needs to be met. I decided to grab my soda and go. I was disappointed that this was the customer service I found here as most other McDonald's are usually quite polite in working with me. Thank you for listening I don't know if this is going to be reviewed or not.

Super disappointed went to the drive through and got home to find my 40 dollars in food was half there. By half i mean the ice creams were filled 2/3 as were the cold fries. I understand it's fast food but maybe they are too fast. Ironically I waited 15 minutes for 3 people's worth of food. Always kind of disappointed with them.

Every single time I've gotten food from this place it is absolutely disgusting and cold. I got a fish sandwich and fries today and both were cold and gross. It doesn't matter what time of day I go, nothing changes. I've went to several other mcdonalds locations and Charles City location is the only one I've had disgusting food at. I'm sick of wasting money on food I take one bite out of and throw away. The fries are always cold and soggy and this has been this way for years! I don't get what is going on at this place or why the employees and owner could care less how nasty the food is they're serving! I won't be ordering food from here again.

I ordered online on the McD app for drive-thru. I used a 25% off deal through the app for mobile. We decided to eat inside. Customer service was excellent! The young man figured out what needed to be done. it was obvious to me (I have extensive customer service experience) that he was a problem solver. I was quite impressed. He exceeded my expectations. I wish I'd gotten his name. This was on a Friday morning around 10:15 am. He had dark hair and black-framed glasses. (That may be his regular shift.) We had breakfast items and they were standard McD's items. My friend's grandson loved it.
