Unprofessional waiting staff. One being an older lady. Flirting with married men, and the waitresses all sitting in the corner folding napkins whispering about customers. Very uncomfortable dinner. 5 stars apart from that one, massive hangup!

Brought a friend from Africa for dinner. Service and food were excellent, as always.
Someone began, what sounded like, champagne being popped, and it kept happening…
It sounded like gunfire, and deliberately so, after the first two…when i realized that group cannot afford to be drinking champagne, or that fast, in that quantity.
We were uneasy at that point.
What a lesson to learn, about your community, and about what you will allow, in your business. We left with a really disgusted feeling…about Chucktown, about the ignorance, and about the insensitivity.
Prove me wrong.

I don't know if this is an Iowa thing, but no one ever came out to the patio to serve us, even after we got our first set of drinks. We had dogs with us, therefore could not be let inside.

Sports Bar atmosphere with multiple TVs and beer signs. Although the restaurant did not appear to be busy, service was slow, although very friendly and adequate when he arrived. My Philly Cheese Steak, Sweet Potatoe Puffs, Coleslaw and Arnold Palmer were delicious.
Wonderful place. Food was great, fast and friendly wait staff. All around great.

Pub on the cedar is a great place to get something to eat. The pork chop salad is outstanding along with the homemade raspberry poppy dressing!! I've tried some of their sandwiches and a pizza and all are amazing! The service is always wonderful and the prices can't be beat!

Got the penne chicken parm it was SOOO good. All 6 of us loved our food. It was so busy but the service did not lack! My parents live in Waterloo and were already talking about coming back down SOON. 🫶🏼

I had the steak on my birthday and I was terribly disappointed with the flavor and quality of my steak! I was expecting more from this place as I was told that it was phenomenally delicious! I do not recommend the steak especially for the price!! The seasoned fries are incredibly delicious!!
