This place is phenomenal. It has fast service, great waiter or waitress staff. Clean easy to get into. And the food was amazing. I'm going to post some pictures of the food. I was delighted we had such a wonderful experience. It's fantastic that El Serape is a good establishment and phenomenal with great service. We are so pleased that the food was amazing and that the cleanliness met my expectations. The team strives to be friendly and outgoing, and we're happy the waitress made such a positive impression. Been in this place a few times, honestly I had bad experiences the first times, I asked for hot sauce and never got it. I Asked for chicken and got ground beef. Last time I been there I got piña colada and was delicious I can say that drinks are awesome in this place. I'm a bit skeptical food wise but I will give it another try soon!

After cheering on the bands at the Southwest Iowa Band Jamboree in downtown Clarinda, our family ducked into El Sarape for a post-parade feast where the smoky Tacos Al Carbon—loaded with tender grilled carne asada, fresh onions, and cilantro—melted in our mouths with every bite. The kids beamed over their golden grilled cheese and French fries while we relished the warm, authentic vibes and speedy service that made our victory lap meal utterly perfect.

Best Mexican food around hands down i won't go anywhere else hands down. I've never walked in and see this place empty it's always busy and that shows that business is good. Wow! This place is pretty impressive. I travel for work so I spend a lot of my time trying different restaurants and every once in a while you come across one that really makes an impression on you. This would fall into that category: The cleanliness of the restaurant and bathroom, the professionalism of the staff, the gourmet Mexican food. everything was made from scratch, down to the chips/salsa. I felt like I was at a high-end restaurant. I will definitely be back here. This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten that and I’ve tried literally hundreds.
