Robin's Nest Cafe and Bakery have done both my children's birthday cakes this year, and hands down I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. The cake is delicious, it's absolutely gorgeous every single time, the attention to detail is amazing. She does an amazing job every time, thank you for making their special day even better with an amazing cake!

We stopped on our way to a family reunion. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We all had bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast. We split one of the delicious homemade cinnamon rolls. The place is such a gem.
My wife and her parents ( parents live in Clarinda) had brunch there about a month ago, my wife ordered a vegetable omelet and when it was brought to the table it was served in a bowl with big chunks of eggs and the vegetables in it looked like the had been run through a food processor ! You could barely see them! My wife and in-laws were very very disappointed with my wifes meal! 😠😠
Overpriced for what you eat there.
Had a cake and some cupcakes made for my grandson. Robins nest did a great job and everyrhing was delicious. Thank you so much.

Waited over 40 minutes to place our order, didn't get our drinks until then either. Took us over an hour from when we sat down until our food arrived, several people came in ordered, ate and paid for there food before ours arrived. Terrible service.

Waited a while to be seated. They didn’t take our order for 30 minutes. Then when they did, a breakfast cafe, ran out of biscuits and gravy. As we waited we watched people who came in after us get their order taken and get their food before we even ordered ours. Going on an hour and we still don’t have food. Worst service and experience! And the coffee was TERRIBLE!!

Best place to get breakfast. The menu here is great, and the staff are quite friendly. The hungry man is my favorite, but the burgers and omelettes are fantastic too! And if you want dessert, their gourmet pancakes are delicious! Such a cozy little place to eat wonderful food first thing in the morning.

We had a delicious chorizo skillet and omelot. Finished with fresh cinnamon rolls. All homemade. Clean, courteous, timely, hot, easy to locate on the town square. We will return.
