I'm new to Iowa. I've been to Robin's Nest for breakfast a couple times. The food is always good and the service is friendly and fast. My son turned 13 on Friday the 13th. I wanted a creepy cake to go along with the Friday the 13th theme. Robin's Nest went above and beyond for this cake. Not only was it decorated wonderfully, the red velvet was very tasty. I look forward to many more cakes in the future.
I don't review or rate often, but this is terrific place. Excellent wait staff, wonderful food. Best omelet I've ever had. Wish we lived closer, would be a once a week visit.

Drove out on a Saturday morning for breakfast and was certainly not disappointed! My wife had a breakfast skillet and I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was great and the cost was very reasonable. Will definitely visit again!
