we came in for lunch and we were not impressed. we all got sandwiches one was without cheese that it was supposed to have, one had brisket one one side and none on the other side with cheese not even melted, and the side of chips was like 5 chips total. oh and waitress did not even ask how our food was and looked like she just rolled out of bed. it was a Saturday at 12:30.
Wow, we recently ate at Fuel for the first time, and the pizza was delicious! So was the dip, and the service!

The family and I went a week ago and, to our surprise, they had a new menu that included burgers, including their special for the day being a Chili Cheese Burger. The burger was fantastic, but the real winner was the chili. You could tell it was made from scratch and not just poured from a can from your local grocery store. It was some of the best chili I have had, and the fact it was on a delicious burger made it even better.
My cousin and I agree that the breakfast pizza is over the top. It was the best I have had.

I ate there today 6/12/25 and I got a lg every thing pizza & add green olives that cost $4.00 more & the pizza was charcoal burnt. Our waitress only got us our drinks & ticket otherwise it was the owner who waited on us & brought me my burnt pizza & didn't even apologize for burning it or offer to give me a discount.
I am here in Clarion, IA and was looking for a place to have a warm dinner. This is called Fueled, Coal Fired Pizza. Not an easy place to find because it is the back of a bar. It is really decent size for a small town in Iowa. I had the small Kitchen Sink pizza and for the appetizer Iowa Sweet corn cheese dip. The pizza and the Iowa Sweet Corn Cheese Dip is delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and will make this place one of very few restaurants I will have dinner at. What attracted me to this was its a local family owned restaurant and bar. They have been in business for 12 years and remained opened during the pandemic. The chocolate cake for my dessert was made from scratch just like their other desserts. During the pandemic they had a fundraiser for the community and raised quite a bit for them. They have Facebook presence also named Fuel.
My husband kept talking about his seared brisket sandwich for the whole trip! My Cobb salad was copious and was based on something other than iceberg. My only complaint that it was cold in the restaurant (they had the doors open on a brisk day, maybe to keep the pizza chef temperate?)
Hate to say this because we have always considered the Kitchen Sink pizza at Fuel one of our top 3 favorites. Ordered and picked up a pizza tonight and will say if it was the first time we got pizza there it would also be the last. We have eaten pizza there quite often but very disappointed in our pizza tonight.

Went for lunch and was pretty much ignored during my visit. Only ended up ordering one food item since it came out burnt. Definitely a bad experience in every aspect. Staring at all the stuff on the walls was the best part.
