We love riding the Rolling Prarie trail and stopping at Pete and Shorty's. Friendly staff, great food and cold beer. This establishment has been open a long time for a good reason.

Absolutely HORRIBLE staff. Amy was so rude & it’s very evident why you can’t leave reviews on their (multiple) Facebook pages. She had zero flexibility & refused to reason on an event. Would not allow for carry out (which makes absolutely no sense). Such a shame that a local business is acting this way in a small town & also in regards to high school kids. Absolutely disgusting. Her position should be reconsidered.

Kid-friendliness: The staff is very welcoming and interactive with kids
4 of us visited around 12:30pm. It was quite busy at that time. We sat way towards the back of restaurant. Our server took our drink and food orders right away. From our table we could see the action in the kitchen. Again, it was very busy, and I believe it was just the 1 woman working the grill. And she was constantly at work. Thankfully we were in absolutely no rush, because it took a long, long, long, time to get our food. And then there was a problem with one of our burgers not included with the group order. The cook came out and told us about that. Seriously, a non issue for us today. We had ordered onion rings, but got French fries. I did not mention the fact to our server, and just enjoyed the yummy fries. I was not charged for onion rings. With all that said, we had a very nice visit, and the food was delicious. There are plenty of other yummy sounding offerings on the menu.

Luckily we had an extra half hour available so we were able to stop for a beer. So much character in this place. If I lived in Clarksville I'd definitely be a regular here.
