Placed was packed food was ok. My boyfriend’s bluegill was under seasoned and soggy. Had a 30 minute wait just for our food. I understand a busy place there is gonna be a small wait to get your order but 30 to 45 minutes is ridiculous

Went here Thursday night for a steak meal. First the steak was super dry and didn't even have seasoning on it like you'd think. Very bland. The mashed potatoes were okay but cold when I got them. My fiance had a Buffalo chicken wrap (he's not picky at all) and said it was the worst he's ever had. Normally the waitress comes over to ask if everything is okay which she did not do at all. Just brought our bill at the end. Resulting in no tip. The only thing nice about this place was the place. Nice view nice town. Not a great place to eat tho. Disappointed because every one talks so highly of it and it was terrible. The best steak you can get is Texas roadhouse. I'll stick to that.

Very good food. Stopped by chance on drive along the river. Prices were good and food was good and the servers were great. Busy but our food came fast. Nice view right on the water.

Walleye tasted fishy and the prime rib was very large but tough.

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. We had the prime rib sandwich and a burger. The food was outstanding and gave us enough for 2 meals. We also had the spicy pickles and and mushrooms and they were amazing. The service was great as well. Can’t wait to go back

My wife and I ate here while staying in a nearby AirBB. We experienced the best service we’d EVER had anywhere. Great menu, really good food, nice atmosphere, and beautiful views of the river. They had March Madness on the TVs and the service was phenomenal! A well managed place! We’d go out of our way to go there again!

Wheelchair accessibility: Our daughter is in a wheelchair so we always notice accessibility. The Clayton Lighthouse gets a thumbs up!

So cool!!! Awesome food awesome bartender, Erin, and I got to meet the Mayor and High School Principal in town. I felt like I was in a scene from Twin Peaks. I can’t say enough about the atmosphere and crowd. An ethnographic portal into small town America. Absolutely awesome and way worth the stop on boat, foot, or car.Edit 3/23/24 - BE CAREFUL OF “TOWNIES”!!! While 99% of this town of 42 people is awesome, the other 1% are complete belligerent IDIOTS that drink way way way too much and whose wives apologize for their husband’s idiocy. I learned the hard way tonight with a Clayton resident that I am far from welcome by all in this town……
