I'm generally not a fan of applebee's, i've had a lot of bad experiences. I was desperate for a late night steak so I gave it a shot. The steak was good and the mashed potatoes were surprisingly good. The bartender (Jessie I think) was very friendly.

Ordered riblet plate. Only got two riblets. See photo. Hostess tried to seat me by the door when there were plenty of other booths available. Sat at bar... bartender was on the back most of my visitUpdate...had discussion with bartender (manager?) about my disappointment. The manager explained that the meal was sold by weight . She offered to get me more food, which I declined. When I got my tab, they had comped my whole meal. I tipped the staff the cost of the meal and 30%.
