My chicken planks were over done with a burnt taste

Absolutely horrible food both mine and wife’s hush puppies were hard as a rock couldn’t even eat them at all my chicken planks were undercooked and the extra shrimp were all rubbery. Last time I ate here 7-8 years ago was a similar experience with poorly cooked food so apparently they haven’t changed much. This was all Long John menu btw. Bet part of the meal was the coleslaw but that’s kinda hard to screw up. Definitely recommend avoiding if you don’t want Long John Silvers ruined for you. I will never go back here I feel nauseous as I type this review

Food was hot and service was professional. Ordered three piece chicken planks meal with extra crispy batter pieces. I would go back there to eat again. I’ve never tried the Kentucky fried chicken there as we always get the long John silvers food.

Got a coupon for fish in the mail. Drove down to get it and was informed that they had changed their prices today and they didn't have to accept coupon if it didn't ring right in computer. What? Drove to window and asked for some crumbs since they didn't put any in last time. Was told no, they charge extra for them now. For something they would just throw out. Got my food, and the fish pieces literally looked like they were cut in half from last time I was there. Fish was very thin, probably a half inch or less. More breading than fish, and greasy. Was never greeted or thanked for my business. This place needs a visit from corporate to explain how the customer is the whole reason they have a job. So dissatisfied, especially with the tiny fish pieces. Do better!

My Husband and i went for lunch at 1030am today First time there in a long time. Payton The General Manager waited on us He was So kind and caring.His crew was very helpful as well. This is now are favorite long iohn silvers

Clinton Iowa location has the rudest employees that cuss at customers and don't fix an order that wasn't correct. This location wasn't the cleanest either.

Stopped there Friday night and ordered fish n shrimp, they said long john silver's side was closed but the KFC side was open so I ordered a 2 piece Xtra crispy n then they proceed to tell me they have none! I pulled away last time I stop there! GYST!!!!
Food was excellent. Service was friendly enough. Ok place to eat.

The food was great, and the right temperature. They did forget to put my tarter sauce in my bag though, asked at drive thru and at window. How can you not automatically get tarter with fish?..... anyway other then that service was great, food tasted good, fast drive thru service.

Not what it used to be. I was especially disappoited in the hush puppies. They seem to be made out of a corn flour. too unpallatable, not made with corn meal any more?
