This bar is a gem in the heart of the Midwest, conveniently located for both locals and visitors. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly, making it a great spot for a night out. The selection of drinks is impressive, and the food menu has some fantastic options. However, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that when I ordered a soda, the water had a slightly odd smell, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, it's a solid choice for a snack while passing thru the town, but they might want to check on that water issue.

Hadn't been herevin a few years bc the food was over priced & the owner was very smug & arrogant. But I remembered the burger was pretty good before, just priced high for a dive bar. This time the burger wasn't even cooked all the way & the fries tasted like nasty old oil that should have been changed months ago. Bartenders weren't welcoming or nice by any means. They seemed annoyed that I ordered food. But there was only 3 other people in there so I'm sure it wasn't a good night for tips. Overall, the place hasn't changed in years except the food got much worse & prices went up. I guess the cocky owner made his money & no longer cares. Definitely will never go back. Go to slops, legends, etc where the food is still worth it & the service is still friendly.

Parking: Parking in the back lot is difficult with a bigger vehicle. I just park on the street and walk.
