Fantastic wine! Maybe the best I ever had. Beautiful! Vineyard wraps around the hills overlooking the Mississippi. Wonderful people. Dorothy and Charlie are very welcoming. We were fortunate enough to camp during harvest and experience grape from wine to tounge. It's off the path a bit, but certainly worth the stop.

Authentic, delicious and memorable. They have nailed the ambiance and taste. An absolutely charming way to spend time sipping very satisfyingly elegant wine while enjoying the natural sights of the Mississippi River. Relaxing to say the least. The wine offers different options of velvety, balanced or fruity tastes with additional options of small plate tidbits to accompany the experience . (Also, Randy did an excellent job helping me to find the perfect wine choice for my palette, and Liz provided a beautiful tour of the vineyard. Canât wait to return. A piece of heaven in the mid-west. Exceptionally quiet and serene as it's just north of the main part of Clinton and literally hidden away on a hillside overlooking the Mississippi. Bald Eagles can be spotted at the right time of the year from the outside deck. The tasting room in Le Claire is forever home, but the journey to the main operation is absolutely a must.

My sisters and I visited Wide River in Clinton. It is a hidden gem of a winery! We sat on the patio which was nestled amongst the trees and had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Randy was our server and he was fabulous! He was a knowledgeable and gracious host. We enjoyed flights of both white and reds and there wasnât a wine we didnât like. The food bites were delicious and paired well with our drinks. This is now a must on our list of places to visit when weâre together! Thank you Randy and Wide River Winery!?

We were driving through Clinton, IA and wanted to explore the area. We found this gem of a place; Wide River Winery. This hidden place was close to the Mississippi River but not directly on but overlooking the river. Driving up a long naturist gravel road until signs marked directions where the winery was located. We went in late afternoon on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised they were open. Only another couple there and just leaving making it our quiet afternoon getaway. The staff friendly and engaging. The place clean with beautiful views. Had a couple of glasses of wine and enjoyed the beautiful day. Definitely have to visit this place in the fall when the leaves begin to turn their marvelous colors. They also serve hors dâoeuvres. Highly recommend.
