When traveling, my husband and I love to stop at local coffee shops! We were driving through and found this place! So cute inside and barista was nice. I tried the cherry bomb- it was amazing! It was unique and so fun looking! I would drive back 2 hours just to have another one! My husband got the bees knees and said the same thing! Thank you!! 😊

Such a cute little coffee shop! We were in town for the Colfax Tour of Homes and one of the homes had a scavenger hunt. We found all the clues so she gave us a gift certificate to this shop. My friend got a coffee and I got hot chocolate. The girls working the counter were sweet and the decor is darling. So glad we got to stop there!

WELL worth the short 1 mile side trip off I-80 into the little town of Colfax for a great smooth Breve Latte and Cafe Mocha! Cute, very clean shop with tables for a break or take-out.
All these people do is tell you there’s a supernatural, glowing being in another dimension you can telepathically communicate with, and he’ll change events in your life. Just think about that for a minute. It’s complete BS. You’re simply learning to love yourself enough to turn away from what is harming you. There’s no god involved in that.
Christians claims to love you because they’re instructed to by their imaginary god. If they failed to obey him and love him, he’ll send them to hell to burn. They’re essentially turning you into a supremacist. Their imaginary god sets people on fire for not loving him and they expect you to praise that. Christians believe they’re the wheat to be gathered and others are the chaff (waste) to be burned. Don’t be love bombed into becoming a supremacist like them.

Hidden gem just off of I-80! Ordered a cappuccino and it was perfect - foam was like velvet and not broiled/over-steamed, espresso had great flavor. The raspberry crumble bar was also delicious - just the right combo of tart and sweet. Space is also very chic, but the staff are the opposite of pretentious coffee-shop vibes - very friendly and down-to-earth. I’m not a religious person but really resonated with the mission being a non-profit that funds addiction support services in the region. The space felt very welcoming regardless of religious affiliation or walk of life.I moderated my expectations going in (figured if nothing else the money would be going to a good cause), but Sheepgate truly impressed! They could hold their own in Chicago or any big city. Will certainly be back next time I’m visiting family!
