Ribeye steak was not good at all, heart of Iowa I expected a good local steak, was pretty gross. Daughter got the catfish and it was excellent, tender and cooked great. Chicken was sub par as well. We are from out of town and have ate here a few times, sad to see salad bar gone. Service was really good, but with this probably being our last time to this area I was disappointed. This could have been a one off, but I would say at least try it and give it a chance.
I am a DJ (just getting started) and The Thirsty Camel has been my favorite place to entertain. Not only is the food great, but the set up to DJ is as clean as it comes. Reuben showed me how to use the equipment the first time with great training to the point I haven't had to ask for any assistance since. Reuben and Dee care about their customers and provide an environment that is fun for all ages.
A wonderful place to take the family friends. Accommodate large parties with and extremely friendly staff. Specializes in comfort food with a truly unique environment. Always a classic stop.
