Outstanding eatery. Nice little menu with enough variety for everyone. Exquisite French Onion soup. Excellent Cesar salad with chicken. The fries are a delicious home style. I had the strawberry lemonade which was amazing and a friend had the margarita which he swears by. The atmosphere is middle-upper class but not snobby by any means. The waitress was great. Very kind and understanding when we needed a few extra minutes to order. I'm telling you this menu makes it hard to decide. Overall I'd give it 8/10.

One of my favorite spots in Council Bluffs. The staff is always accommodating and pay attention to your needs! The food is QUALITY. The large windows allow for a sunny yet cozy and fun atmosphere as you can people watch foot traffic passing by. Live this place!Parking: I always park behind the restaurant. Never have an issue finding parking although it is limited parking behind the restaurant. Expect to have to street park on busy days!Kid-friendliness: I’ve take my young daughter there a few times and the atmosphere is just fine. It’s kinda of a sports bar but outside seating in the summer is such fun for us to sit and soak up the sun while we eat and watch people.
This two star was for our clearly overcooked tenderloins. Tenderloin sandwiches were pounded very thin so they would require a much shorter time to deep fry. My husband and I have visited before and had the Bloody Mary fishbowl which was beyond our wildest expectations. We will definitely be back simply because of our experience today. As we were not happy with the sandwiches, the staff went out of their way to make things right. I don't ever return food, I just don't eat it. My husband decided to choose a burger as his second option and was pleased. We appreciate your considerations and will be back soon. Our server had a fantastic welcoming, bright, and cheerful attitude. The restaurant was super clean and the huge windows let all the sunshine come through. Thank you again!

Really like the restaurant and decor, good food, we just had some buffalo chicken sandwiches cuz we were catching a movie after, but the specials sounded good, and I'd love to come back and try some steaks or other entrees.New:Have been here many times since, has maintained it's quality. Although I guess it's a mark of the times because I've seen it everywhere, the service has gone down hill. It's fine when you get it, but seems like there's never anyone working.Highly recommend the steak tot-chos!

Cute establishment with delicious food. We walked in late morning on a Sunday and enjoyed their brunch. We did not have a reservation and we were a party of 6, so we were pleasantly surprised we were able to get a table right away.All of the food was good; it was disappointing that they didn't have a brunch-specific kids menu. The only kids menu was lunch options (chicken tenders, cheeseburger, Mac and cheese, etc.).They do have an extensive cocktail menu. My tropical mimosa was excellent.They have tables to seat parties of varying sizes, and based on the "reserved" signs, they take reservations. We will be back!

First, I’d have to say, I don’t think it matters what race/nationality you are, they are just plain rude. Maybe we got the wrong day tho (trying to give benefit of the doubt since we all have bad days…. My party and I had called to secure and confirm our reservation, only to be met with extreme disorganization and blatant prejudice upon arriving.Despite speaking with Amanda twice on the phone and providing our contact information, she still claimed to not know about our reservation. It was clear that she had not taken us seriously or made any effort to accommodate our party size. The fact that there were numerous empty tables available, yet we were unable to be seated only added insult to injury.To make matters worse, one member of our party spotted our reservation written down at the hostess/bar stand area. This blatant disregard for our request further solidified the fact that we were being discriminated against solely based on the color of our skin.Despite our peaceful demeanor and willingness to give this restaurant a chance to make things right, it was evident that Amanda was not interested in serving us. We were met with apathy and excuses instead of genuine concern or an apology. It is truly disappointing that a supposedly reputable establishment like Caddy's would have such biased individuals in positions of power. Although I cannot comment on the taste of the food, as we did not get the chance to try it, my overall experience can only be rated negatively due to Amanda's unprofessional and prejudiced actions towards us.I hope that this review serves as a warning for other potential customers who may face similar treatment at Caddy's. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, especially one supposedly dedicated to serving all guests equally.

Let me explain, Amanda admittedly placed other parties ahead of us who were not present in the restaurant, she told us that the restaurant did not take reservations, even more there were several empty tables with no other people in the lobby waiting. I hoped to rate this establishment based on the experience, including the taste of the food, instead I’m rating this restaurant based on service only. This has to be the most racist establishment I’ve visited in a long time. My family and I called the restaurant to secure a reservation to celebrate my sister’s college graduation. Our name was added per Amanda at the restaurant. Since we were driving from Omaha, we called to confirm our reservation, which Amanda confirmed we were all set. We drove 35 minutes to the restaurant. Once we arrived with our black faces, we weren’t acknowledged in a welcoming manner. In fact, the staff and customers stared as if we were ghosts. Not to mention, Amanda was very unprofessional, dismissive, and blatantly rude. But the ultimate disregard was when she told us we didn’t have a reservation when we saw our phone number listed.Clearly, this restaurant doesn’t provide equal service to all people as evident by the treatment we received. As a black man and veteran, it sickens me that I laid my life on the line to help protect the freedoms of this great country just to be denied service because of the color of my skin.If you are a person of color, I encourage you to spare your feelings and dine elsewhere. To the owners of this establishment, DO BETTER!
