Don't go here, find a different location. Took a long time for food despite not being busy and staff just standing around. Flys flying around everywhere. Chicken was overcooked and dry.

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a Dairy Queen, but the Dairy Queen's in Cedar Rapids are so awful, we were blown away by this one! It was right next to our hotel, so we stopped by for a quick ice cream treat before bed. It was clean, quick, and the ice cream was fantastic. We were so pleasantly surprised- it's the nicest Dairy Queen we've ever been to.

Since the remodel this place has a brighter more cheerful atmosphere. Also a kind of more modern and more sterile atmosphere. I honestly miss the fireplace that used to be here, but I think some of the changes were definitely good ones. Other than the dining area I think the food here is pretty much what one would expect when eating at a Dairy Queen.
