I'm sorry but there is no taste to your food it all tastes like tyme not flavor at all the prime rib completely dried out the soups were cold and not flavor the crab legs were crab legs being the only reason any stars or given the amount of money spent and the amount people coming in you could definitely do better. The upkeep of the place is GROSS .. all u see is old gross and build up around the doors to the kitchen the "private room" smells like mold. The desserts were very very old tasting and dry cheese cake should have mostness to it . NOW THE STAFF Arif is by far the most you could ever want from service.. saw this older gentleman having a little trouble breaking up the legs and without any questions asked he littley broke up all the legs for the gentleman and this right here is the only reason this made my night . I really want this man to know how much it ment to me to see the kind and compassion he shows is very important in the world .. my hat is off to you GOOD SIR. DEFINITELY NEED TO READVISE YOUR CHEF...

One of the worst meals I've had in a while. This place is definitely a get them in get them out style restaurant. The food was very subpar and the attitudes we're care-less. Our waitress brought us water and left. After a while when I seen her I waved her over and asked for tea and a soda. She acted disgusted about it. Then, when I asked for a medium rare cut of meat the chef gave me a medium well piece, then moved on to the next person without giving me a chance to rebuttal. Very expensive - poor quality food - poor quality service.

It's not the same!! They need to revamp the menu or something. It was horrible! I miss the buffets of the old days.

Took my family here for a birthday dinner and left immediately after a cockroach ran across my table, I alerted the server about the cockroach and she quickly went to get her I guess manager (a heavyset older lady with a low ponytail) and my son who happened to walk by them over heard her say “it’s a restaurant what does she expect” then proceeds to approach me in a friendly manner and apologized. I was appalled. For 60 dollars a person the crab taste like freezer burn, the prime rib was so chewy and nothing but blood and fat, the mash potatoes were gummy/sticky like putty, the food was cold, the chicken was SO salty, the desert station was very limited full of dried up hard cake with rock hard cookies and then it went from bad to worse when I seen that cockroach run across my table. It was a waste of money and ruined our birthday dinner, I will never return unfortunately and if anyone is thinking about eating here think twice because it is a total disappointment.

Ameristar buffet Sunday brunch is not worth it anymore. The prime rib was chewy. The fried chicken was too salty. I thought scrambled eggs were good. The sausage links were borderline undercooked. The dessert selection is not as vast as it used to be. The Chinese section has decent entrees but the appetisers were cold. At the griddle, she's standing in front of a hot griddle with a loaf of bread behind her. I asked if she would make my son a grilled cheese. "ABSOLUTELY NOT. ". 40 bucks a person for absolutely not. The waiter was friendly and did a good job but the food is ,,less than old country buffet quality for $40 a plate. Never again.

Flavorless cold food. Honestly the health department needs to stop by because it is food poisoning waiting to happen. Go across the highway to the steak restaurant. Overpriced for poor quality and taste. The desert was even worse than the food. So disappointing!

The food was horrible, mostly cold and sub pair. For there prime rib ,( I have better quality meat from arbys at least they have flavor and its chewable) i enjoy a good medium rare piece of meat however when its tough, no flavor and you have to use ranch just to swallow it down tells you alot. No flavor must be the speciality as even the simplest things like chicken legs , mac and cheese or the runny mash potatoes all were bland and again cold. Even the Chinese food was gross, i have better sweet and sour sauce from a can and their crab rangoon with no cream cheese filling, they should be ashamed. You can even tell the fried shrimp came out of of a box that u would get from the side of road selling those great deals as freezer burnt shrimp is not what a $40 plate meal would count for. Salad bar was weak with little to no extra toppings to put on your salad, However it was probably the best thing there to eat. The desserts were dry out, like the been sitting out since last Saturday because no one wanted them. Server cant bring drinks as she keep forgetting the refills or what we were drinking in the first place. I use to love going to the buffet before covid happens and thought my family of 4 at $130 meal would actually be worth it, however it was not , i would never return nor recommend to anyone. I think the family would have enjoyed McDonald's better then what we had there tonight. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

The employees are very polite and deserve good tips. Very attentive and take care of you! Thank you! The dessert was delicious. We had cheesecake and crème brule. It was pretty good!!The food was a different story. They need new recipes. I can’t imagine the chefs enjoy the food that is put out. The fried zucchini, the butterfly shrimp and the Macaroni n cheese were the only things on the dinner menu that I enjoyed. I was very disappointed with the Italian food and the prime rib. I expected more for $45 per person. We came from out of town and were very excited for this buffet but the food just didn’t hit par. Thank you for the friendly atmosphere and the beer, though!
