“Love this bar! They were awesome with the new mask mandate and even though not everyone is happy about it, they kept everyone in compliance. Bar tender Tim was attentive and walked around making sure everyone was taken care of. Would recommend to anyone“

“Highly recommend if you need time to read in a great space! I have been there 3 times already and it has never disappointed. The bartenders are always great (serve table side) and for me being a college student feels amazing to have a student discount as well! I have done cocktails so far, each one has been delicious. What I appreciate is the bartender doesn’t try to push you out the door when you’re done drinking, they seem to make sure you are enjoying your time at the Reading Room!“

“You guys are a great hidden gem. Can I suggest a business idea? Give some kind of a discount or incentive to the capitol district apartment resident's. There are a good amount of people that live there and plenty of people who like to have a drink. Whether it’s a straight discount or a discount on a certain night. Could be some built in weekly business for you guys.“

“It's a nice little spot in North Omaha. It's not in the most attractive part of town but it is safe. Drinks are way expensive but good and strong. It is mostly geared to Urban culture but all are welcomed. I was in attendance for a B Day celebration.“

“The staff here was awesome. I did not get the name of the gentleman that sold us the cigars but he was friendly, outgoing, funny. Helped a ton with suggestions and then helped us light our cigars. Then Sara served us drinks at the table and was awesome. Top notch service here and worth checking out.“

If you just want to switch off, relax, and hang out, this is a perfect option. It’s also open until 2 AM, which is pretty rare for Omaha. Overall, I definitely recommend it.☺️🙌“
