Add the roasted pork chops was a little overcooked. I've been very good in the past. Wi-Fi to corned beef and cabbage said was really good. Was very loud someone in the house was going to Vegas screaming and yelling with a bunch of other people.

Service was horrible. we waited 45 minutes just to get the check and all the staff could see we were just sitting there. we even walked up to get a box and we still ended up sitting there for 20 more minutes. all of the workers were just standing around behind the bar chatting. The food was okay. they have large portions however the food itself isn't anything special. would not recommend

Had dinner here after the Berkshire Hathaway convention last May. Staff were inviting and quick. The place is familiy oriented and well lit. Music can be a little loud. Food was great! We tried the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, a local favorite I hear. We also had to get the Fried Walleye. Friends had urged me to try the fish if I travel thru the corn-belt. It was delicious! The Fried Chicken Gizzards we had were tasty. If I felt like drinking, they would have gone well with a cold pitcher of beer. Wish walleye were more readily available on the East Coast! I'll certainly stop here again if we visit in the future! VIDEO:

The energy in this place is amazing. Everybody with their families and friends all gathered around, you could tell this was the place to be. The food was great. Seems like the fried food is really their specialty and they delivered with a mouthwatering walleye. 2 whole fillets in a tempura batter, and the cheese curds were perfect. My wife got the 10oz Jalapeño burger which was amazing. The beef was seasoned perfectly, and the beef itself had good flavor. Local beef? Nebraska beef? Very good. The place was very packed, yet our service was still good. Our server was on top of it.Overall great experience, delicious food and good service in a lively atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Several multi-generational families gathered with their children to enjoy dinner together.
