Our cook was super friendly and recommended the 'fire ball' sauce. He was so warm and welcoming and took pride in his job and made us feel so special. Our food was amazing and we will definitely go back soon.

The food was average, but the sandwiches were inconsistent. One was acceptable, while the other had noticeably less meat — about half of what I would expect. The fryers appeared dirty, and the floor throughout the restaurant, including the bathroom, was greasy and slippery, suggesting that proper cleaning products are not being used. Additionally, the person preparing the food seemed careless and inattentive. Overall, the experience fell short in both food quality and cleanliness....

I quit going to PepperJax in Council Bluffs a few years ago because my last couple visits the place was a pigsty and food prep not so good. But decided to give it another chance since really liking it before the last couple times there. They apparently got some new management, the dining area was clean and well kept, the outside table area was clean and the mens restroom was very clean. The staff was very respectful and diligent. The food was well prepared and tasted as good as...
