I used to come here at least every other week and order a mini taco and medium/large single topping pizza. Today 3/12/25 they charged me for a medium taco which I refused to buy because it’s too much food and money. $50 to my usual $30. I understand mini and medium sound similar so maybe changing the name of the extra small pizza might benefit them. Front desk person said I definitely heard medium, and didn’t try to right their mistake. I always tip and feel a little down on making this review, but alas I will never go back. Cheers pizza counter. Edited to 4 stars because my family still likes this place.

While at home eating the pizza I found a very large hair in it. It was actually in my mouth when I found it. It was only the third piece I had removed. Unfortunately I had to throw most of that one away. What ever happened to people wearing hair nets?
We pick up pizza from this Pizza Counter at least one per month. Always hot and always delicious. Can’t wait for the next one! p.s. Leftovers are good cold or warmed up, too.

Best pizza in Council Bluffs. The Pizza Counter special is great for meat loving pizza people. Usually only 20-25 min from time of order and the dough they use is fantastic. They also make great calzones. It is one of the few restaurants I can take any friend or family and they find something they like.
