My husband is 1st generation Italian & he agrees. the owners take a lot of pride in their food, it is fresh right from the order to the destination, they are also personable & take pride in their business, I wish them total success. I have a lot of respect for the gentleman working tonight. He had his server call out. Meaning he was left to do it all. He managed it all very well. We may have sat a little longer than we planned but our food was fresh and he was very professional!! Thanks for the great service!

Pomodoro's was the "Food Truck Friday" feature on August 13th at Elk Creek Crossing and the opportunity to avoid cooking on Fridays is always appealing. We traveled a few blocks for fresh homemade Italian dishes, along with a number of neighbors who had the same idea. Arriving at 5:45-shortly after the 5:30 start time, we were surprised at the line that quickly multiplied with families taking advantage of the great weather and playground equipment that kept the young ones occupied. A wide variety of menu options were available including fresh pasta with a choice of alfredo, marinara or meat sauce. Meatball, brats and Italian sausage subs topped the sandwich offerings. Hamburgers and fries were offered but I didn't see or hear anyone ordering from the grill. A children's menu and family feast were also listed on the hand lettered menus taped to the truck. I ordered the fresh pasta with meat sauce and added a meatball. My husband opted for the Italian sausage sub with potato salad. My entree came with a breadstick and the meat sauce was so packed with meat that I probably could have skipped the added meatballs. My husband raved about his Italian sausage sandwich and I was impressed that they wrapped the bun in foil to keep it from soaking up sauce on the trip home. We had a short 5-7 minute wait for our meals which was delivered in foam takeout containers. Plastic napkin wrapped silverware was available for those eating in the park. The young lady taking orders was well equipped for the crowd and kept the line moving very efficiently. Credit cards were accepted and someone from the kitchen shouted a "thanks for coming" as we exited with our order. Food truck Friday is a welcome addition in our neighborhood and Pomodoro's did not disappoint.

We got the opportunity to try their food when the food truck was at the Breezy Hill Vineyard in Minden (we live outside Neola) and it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had! The pasta was amazing! And the owners are super nice! Definitely will be stopping into the restaurant in Council Bluffs next chance we get!

I came across this restaurant in Council Bluffs with my family. Every aspect of our experience was beyond pleasant. Food was great, atmosphere was welcoming and the owners even stopped by our table to chat. We look forward to catching their food truck around Omaha. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for homemade Italian!

We have had THE BEST experiences using Pomodoro’s food truck! The most recent was our senior’s graduation party at our home. I can not say enough about the food, portion sizes, and customer service! Highly recommend- you will not be disappointed! I know this sounds crazy because it’s an Italian food truck, but order their crab rangoon- seriously the best we’ve ever had!
This review is only on service, as I have not had their food. But I had heard enough great things that I wanted them to cater our 25th wedding anniversary. The initial conversation I gave her the date (it was available). It was a matter of scheduling a tasting. So, I have stopped in several times during open hours and no one there. I tried calling too many times to count and left many messages. Also. sent messages from website and email. I called today during closed ours and they answer. She tells me the date is booked. When we first spoke and I gave her the dates and it was available. Very frustrating!

Hands down the best pasta I've eaten in over 2 years!! I'm vegan, and they have no issue accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Food was delicious and came out quick, I will 100% be coming back here!
