The Salty Dog Bar & Grill

First time ordering from here. Was pretty disappointed since everyone I’ve ever talked to about this place says the food is great. We ordered take out online and first their ordering site is poorly done. No pictures and no description on the item you’re ordering. Thankfully my food allergies are mainly to fruits and not something like limes or onions. I ordered the street tacos, they tasted okay but I have no clue what all was on them. My fiance ordered the chicken salad, the chicken was dry and the croutons were stale. Ranch was almost watered down. It was again, okay, but probably will not eat here again. The fries were also not the best but better than some other places. Was just very disappointed since I’ve heard good things and our experience was poor.

I honestly believe they did used to have the best wings but the last few times I’ve been disappointed. And everything is ridiculously priced.

We ordered the holy mother trucker and fries. It was tasty! Perfect crisp on the fries as well.

I was just passing through. Aside from the echoey strip mall atmosphere this place was great. Good friendly service. Quality food. Top 5 Wings I’ve ever had.

Still the best wings in the Omaha Metro

They have the wings down! Perfect and crispy and came very quickly to the table. Drinks were good and the atmosphere was welcoming. Would definitely come back again.

This place is a little gem. We were traveling and just passed through and saw they had charcoal grilled and double dipped wings. They were super fire. So good. They also make their own blue cheese sauce and it's awesome! Highly recommend. The staff was quick and friendly.

Been coming to Omaha for 3 yrs now. This is by far the best wings I have ever tried. I have not tried anything else because the wings are that good! Deep fried wings, tossed in bbq sauce and then char broiled and I prefer the habanero sauce on the side with ranch or blue cheese. Cooked to perfection ?

This place has decent bar food. Waitresses NEED to write down orders. Especially ones with modifications. I asked for BBQ wings with ghost pepper sauce on the side. She punched in GHOST PEPPER wings with cocktail sauce. This was my first time trying these guys too.

We stopped in on our way through town. The music was extremely loud. The server brought us out drinks and menu. Then never came back. He took orders of others that showed after us. We paid for drinks and left.

I would normally give this place a good review but last night the service was awful. The waitresses were more concerned about getting their shots of whiskey at the bar and being on their phone. Took forever to get my drinks and took longer to come back for food order which I didn’t do. Paid for drinks and left. Will NOT be back for awhile.

the food is great, the service has been off the last 2 times out of 10 we went, but nothing too crazy. i will say all the older people who go make it a tendency to try to talk over each other so it gets a bit noisy....will tolerate for them charbuff wings!

Got chicken tenders ans curly fries. The fries where good, the tenders not so good. Probably won't be back, took 40 minutes to place an order since the waitress was busy talking
