The first bar my wife and I went to after moving to council bluffs. The bartender, Henry, helped us pick drinks when we didn't know what we wanted which made the night even more enjoyable. the other comments say he's a mind reader and that's accurate. The overall atmosphere of the place was cozy and the people were friendly and inviting. 10/10 would recommend this spot to anyone!

If I could give Henry at Blk Squirrel 100 stars, I would. Hands down, he is the reason this bar feels like home every time I walk in. From the moment I sit down, he has a fresh drink waiting like he read my mind. The man is magic. Not only is his bartending top-tier, but he goes above and beyond to make sure I feel safe and comfortable. Any unwanted attention? Henry is already on it before I even have to say a word.
