I really like going here & it's perfect for when you just get off the river starving.The food is always amazing & reasonably priced. The mixed drinks are made right & taste great. My favorite menu item is the 139 chicken sandwich, add mushrooms & onions. Their white cheese curds are also great, when they are able to get them in.I also like how small & cozy it is, how they decorate for the holidays & I absolutely love watching the humming bird feeders...
Overall Great Bar food and drinks. It's Cash Only so remember that but, with an ATM I guess I'd okay. Service was spot on for a smaller Towny type bar. Highly recommend if ur in the area.
A treasure on the Upper Iowa. A really great burger on a Decorah baked bun. I stick with this part of the menu, but the taco and wing nights are good if you get there early enough. A mostly local clientele but they have welcomed me with little judgement. Check out the hummingbird feeders in the front window.
