My favorite place to eat in Creston!

Owners are unfriendly and try to bully other businesses out of town with their relationship with city council. Support community driven businesses and go somewhere else.

Food was hot and fairly quick for the time of day. The long island iced tea is the thing, this place has had the same recipe for 40 years. Amazing! Well It's not the same anymore. I guess everything can't last forever.

We had a larger party and it's graduation season so I feel they did great customer service wise. My food was very good, I got a dinner salad with Bang Bang tempura shrimp, delish! A few at my table got the B bowl & all enjoyed it. I acored the atmosphere lower b/c the facility needs some TLC. The carpet at the bar you had to walk on to get to the bathrooms was the single most disgusting floor I've ever experienced, it needs pulled up immediately. The bathroom also has leaks from the ceiling that were washing my hands nearly as much as the faucet could. Give the place a tony male over & you're golden. Food was very, very good! Staff was very pleasant and did a good job!

This restaurant has alot going for them. Service is always good. Kaitlyn at the bar is great and fast. The rest of the girls and guys get out done with great attitudes. There is pool and a few games for kids which make it awesome for families. I do feel there could be more and the food could have some off the menu specials. But other then that we always have a great time

We were in town for a funeral this weekend and decided to go to one of the places my mother-in-law liked. We had a very large party and were told that they could accommodate our party. Tables were already rearranged when we got there since some of the party beat us there from the funeral home. Some of the party already had drinks and we asked where they got them from, they said they went straight to the bar, so we did too. The bartender appeared to be having a rough night, but we were too, so it wasn't a big deal. We got our drinks and went back to our table. My father-in-law wanted a red beer, so my brother-in-law went back and asked for just a glass and a tomato juice. Next thing we know we were getting kicked out. My brother-in-law tried to find out what happened and was accused of "being rude" and calling a waitress derogatory names. Another patron at the bar, who was not in our party, said that wasn't true and nothing of the sort was said. I find it funny that after the only two people of color went to the bar and ordered drinks we get kicked out. I was appalled that any place of business would treat such a large party like that. My mother-in-law was always proud to be from a small town community that was so tight knit, and to be treated like that was horrible on such a somber occasion. Needless to say, we took our business to Casa De Oro and they were MORE than willing to accommodate our party and welcome us with hugs and condolences. That's what my mother-in-law would have been proud of. Most definitely not the disgusting behavior that came from the "manager" at A&G.

I just went to A&G here in Creston last night with my family of 25 and said they would seat us. Some of the men helped get the tables gathered up and put together and moved chairs. We all sat down. Some got up and went to bar for drinks. Waitress came over and was very nice. Gave us menus and said she’d be back to get our drink orders. A guy (said he was the manager) had gauge earrings, came out and was asking for my dad (name the party was under) and said he was kicking us out for being rude to the waitress(es). My dad was one that ordered at bar and got my grieving Grandpa a glass of tomato juice to pour his beer in. We just lost my Grandma on Sunday and her funeral is tomorrow. We were told by others around us that they were also getting horribly treated. Shame on Creston A&G for treating my family this way as we mourn the loss of my grandma and all wanting to eat at our hometown FAMILY OWNED A&G! Literally wishing I could give zero stars for this.

Have not been here in a while but love the food

Since original owner and family sold it the food which was great has steadily declined. Ordered from there this last Friday. We ordered Chicken strips, bake potatoes and side salads. The chicken strips were about size of French fries and tasted nasty. You can tell that new owners are buying cheap inferior food and products to serve to customers. NASTY, NASTY, NASTY. Never going back.
